Web Design for Texas Contractors
Construction Company Website Design
Your website gets reviewed before your bid does. I build it to pass.
Book a free 30-minute review01 / Before the Bid
Owners, engineers and general contractors look you up before they open your bid, check your prequalification or add you to a closed bid list. They want to know who you are, what you self-perform, whether you can be bonded at their size and what your safety record looks like. If your site can't answer that in under a minute, they move to the next name.
I design construction company websites for Texas contractors who build, maintain and supply what others depend on. Every site I build answers the questions a procurement reviewer actually asks, works on a phone in the field and gives you something to point to when a GC asks for your capabilities.

What owners and GCs check before they call you
Most contractor websites are built to look good. Yours has to hold up to a reviewer with a bid tab open in the next window. Here is what they look for:
01
Who you are
Your legal name, matching your bonds and bid documents exactly, with a named contact for bids.
02
What you self-perform
One page per scope, with the work you subcontract kept separate.
03
Qualifications
Where you're prequalified, your bonding capacity, licenses and certifications like HUB or DBE.
04
Safety
Your program, your numbers if you track them, and the training your crews carry.
05
Past work
Real projects with owner, scope, value, year and your role, prime or sub.
06
Documents
A capabilities statement they can download, forward and search.
The full list is in my Procurement-Ready Website Checklist for Heavy Civil Contractors. Use it to check your current site before we talk.
03 / The Build
What goes into every contractor website I build
I write the copy before I design the pages. Your site is built around what you need to say, not filled in after.
- A page for each scope you self-perform and want more of, not one page that lists everything
- Project profiles written the way owners read them, with your own job photos instead of stock
- A qualifications section covering prequalifications, bonding, insurance and certifications
- A safety section that matches what owners and GCs ask for
- A careers page with a short application crews can fill out on a phone, plus a call or text option
- A text-based capabilities statement PDF that matches the site word for word
- Fast load times on a phone over a weak signal, and readable contrast in direct sun
- Local SEO setup for the counties and cities you work in, with your name, address and phone matching your Google Business Profile

07 / Questions
Frequently asked questions
How much does a construction company website cost?
My packages run from $8,500 for a small contractor site to custom quotes for large firms. Most established subcontractors land between $11,000 and $16,000. The price depends on the number of pages and scopes, not the hours.
How long does it take?
Six to ten weeks for most builds, depending on the package. I book projects ahead, so the start date depends on my calendar.
Do you write the copy?
Yes. Copy is part of every package and I write it before design starts. You review and approve it.
Can I show my bonding and prequalifications without publishing my financials?
Yes, and you should. State your bonding capacity and name the agencies you're prequalified with. Your financial statements stay with your surety and the agencies that ask for them.
Will my site rank on Google?
Every site I build includes on-page SEO and local setup. Nobody can promise rankings, and I won't. For ongoing work, I offer monthly local SEO plans.
Do you make capabilities statements?
Yes. I design capabilities statements as print-ready files and text-based PDFs, matched to your website.
Do you only work in Fort Worth?
I'm based in Fort Worth and work with contractors across Texas over scheduled Zoom calls. In-person meetings are available for a consultation fee of $220 an hour.
