I’m an award-winning web designer and marketing strategist with over 27 years of experience. I founded Black Anchor Design, a Fort Worth-based consultancy that helps businesses create meaningful online presences.
I studied Graphic and Web Design at the Art Institute of Dallas and Pittsburgh, and then took business courses at Texas Wesleyan University. I continue to further my education by taking classes on Artificial Intelligence, blending my creativity with a strategic focus on results. I’ve received a U.S. Senate Certificate of Commendation for promoting inclusivity in design, as well as recognition from UpCity and Clutch.
My career spans from small local businesses to major brands like Cold Stone Creamery, Coca-Cola, Disney, and the Dallas Mavericks. I’ve earned a reputation for managing complex projects and delivering measurable outcomes across various industries.
I started Black Anchor Design as a side project in 2009 and transitioned to a full-time endeavor in 2015. As a family-first professional, being present for my children drives my work.
Outside of design, I enjoy fishing, hunting, exploring technology, attending concerts, watching movies, and savoring a good cup of coffee. I’m proud to support local BBQ culture and Texas sports teams with the same enthusiasm I bring to my work.

A philosophy about achieving balance in life by gradually adjusting your focus, rather than switching between all-or-nothing states. The concept proposes using "dials" to manage attention levels across various areas, such as work and family, instead of flipping "switches" that create stark separations and can be mentally exhausting.
